What is Laminate Flooring?
Laminate Flooring in it's most basic form is a photograph of wood (or stone) laminated onto a wooden substrate board. Although this seems to be very "fake" some laminate floors are very realistic in their appearance and touch.

1. A transparent & wear-resistant Top layer
This top layer makes the flooring resistant to
stains, scratches, burns and chemicals.
This second layer is what defines the look of the flooring. The second layer is a high resolution photo of real wood, stone or tile.
3. HDF Core board
HDF board stands for 'High Density Fiber' board. It is made from a mixture of high quality melamine resin and refined wood fibers compressed together.
4. A balancing layer
This moisture-resistant backing layer guarantees a perfectly balanced board that will not cup or bow when properly installed and maintained
